Brandon and Paula met at Miami Dade College, hosting the annual Pinning Ceremony for incoming freshman Honors College students. At the meeting to prepare for the Pinning Ceremony, Brandon approached Paula because their individual photographs had been photo shopped together for an ad campaign for Miami Dade College.
This is how it all began...
After many meetings to 'prepare the speech' for the Pinning Ceremony, Paula and Brandon began to go out on casual dates, shortly meeting the family, and a mere two months after meeting, began dating.
They had an amazing time of dating and courting, family outings, meeting new friends, school, work, promotions, and a full dose of LIFE! You can find pictures of this time by clicking on the 'photo' tab at the top of the page.
As their two year anniversary was approaching, Brandon, with the help of some amazing friends whose car "conveniently broke down" while on the way to a double date, planned a romantic dinner at Gibraltar at the Grove Isle Hotel and Spa.
Paula did not suspect a thing.
After dinner, Brandon and Paula went for a walk through the beautiful outside of the hotel on the ocean. Set up at a distance was a beautiful table with two chairs and a guitar.
Brandon serenaded Paula and got down on one knee, asking for her hand in marriage...
